Advanced Athlete Assessment

The Advanced Athlete Assessment

Everything we do begins with a movement assessment. We learn about your current habits, pre-existing conditions, and movement patterns. Then, we educate you on the highly practical and personalized steps you can take toward wellness. Finally, we welcome you into our wellness community, where you can find connection and accountability with people on the same journey as you. Enhance your performance with our assessments that target lower performing areas of movement, balance, stability and power so you know areas to target for improvement and to also help prevent injury. Athlete Assessment includes: Functional Movement Assessment, Fundamental Capacity Screen, Inbody Scan, Submax VO2, Vertical Jump, and Personal Recommendations and Exercises. Cost $195

Functional Movement Screen

This screen focuses on muscular and joint health and is used to identify any significant movement pattern limitations or asymmetries. Individualized corrective exercises are provided to address any problem areas.

Fundamental Capacity Screen

The Fundamental Capacity screening evaluates key components of athleticism necessary for more rigorous physical activities and sports. Identifying issues affecting an athlete’s ability to produce power, reutilize energy, maintain posture under load and control balance allows the athlete to target the fundamental fitness issues that may be holding them back.

Inbody Scan

Understand your health better by measuring your muscle, fat and water ratio with this 1-minute, non-invasive, test that will provide you with a print out of your various results, including your muscle-fat analysis and basal metabolic rate.

Submax VO2

This assessment is used for measuring cardiovascular and respiratory abilities. This test estimates a person’s maximum oxygen consumption (VO2 max) by performing exercise at one or more submaximal work rates. Typically around 85% of the individual’s maximum heart rate is used, verses the VO2 Max which requires maximum, 100%, effort.

Vertical Jump

This is a series of jumps to evaluate the Power, Strength, and Eccentric Utilization Ratio (EUR) found through force plate testing.

Personal Recommendations and Exercises

Based on your results and tailored to your specific needs for improvement, we will explain and send you home with 4-6 exercises
