The Story

Grace Schools Charter Authority, LLC authorized its third charter school, Seven Oaks Classical School, which opened its doors in the town of Ellettsville, Indiana, southwest of Indianapolis in 2016.

The Grace College Board of Trustees approved a seven-year charter for the school on January 13, 2016. This charter with Grace Schools Charter Authority, LLC authorizes Seven Oaks Classical School as a stand-alone school. Seven Oaks has expanded and currently services K-12. 

Seven Oaks Classical School seeks to fill the need for a classical liberal arts option within Monroe County. The school offers a content-rich, rigorous, and time-tested learning curriculum in an atmosphere that promotes and builds strength of character.

The mission of Seven Oaks Classical Schools is to train the minds and improve the hearts of young people through a rigorous classical education in the liberal arts and sciences, with instruction in the principles of moral character and civic virtue. Seven Oaks prepares its students to be leaders in their homes and communities, entrepreneurs in business, and statesmen in government. Through its demanding curriculum with a strong emphasis on civics, Seven Oaks provides a traditional education with a constant view toward developing knowledgeable American citizens.
