Grace Chapel

Chapel

Grace College Chapel exists to foster a Christ-centered community, where we seek to know Christ and make Him known, by providing opportunities to worship God, to learn from His Word, and to integrate our faith into every aspect of life.

Three times a week, our campus gathers corporately to worship and to hear the Bible taught by local pastors, ministry leaders, as well as Grace faculty and staff. A typical chapel service includes a time of praise and worship led by our chapel band followed by a time of teaching. This is often supplemented with gospel-centered activities, discussion, and prayer.

Our Chapel services are student-led. Students serve eagerly on the Student Chapel Team, Chapel Band, and tech team to offer seamless worship opportunities for our campus. The Dean of Chapel and Community Life and the Coordinator of Chapel oversee and guide these teams.

There are several annual traditions that are brought to campus by the Chapel Office. These include Missions Conference, Day of Worship, Midnight Chapel, Christmas Chapel, student seminars, worship nights, and other discipleship opportunities.

Chapel Theme - 2026 "Free"

Each year, Grace College, a Christian College in Indiana, thoughtfully chooses a book of the Bible to focus our learning on. From this book, our campus theme is chosen. In Chapel, this book is explored and taught on a weekly basis. Students are encouraged to think deeply and integrate the theme into their lives as they mature in their faith.

Our campus theme for the 2026-2027 school year, “Free,” is from the book of Luke. Building on the foundation of Luke 19:10, we will explore a Savior who enters our mess not to manage a project, but to find a person. Throughout the year, we will witness Jesus initiating a rescue mission that liberates the outcast and the elite alike from spiritual, mental, and physical bondage. Ultimately, students will be invited to trade the pressure of self-achievement for the miracle of the Incarnation, discovering that true freedom is the power to be set free from sin and finally be who God created them to be.

Luke 19:10 ~ “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
