About Grace College
Grace consists of four schools, the School of Arts and Sciences, School of Music, School of Ministry Studies, and the School of Adult and Community Education. Grace offers three of its graduate degree programs through online education, a cohort-based system inaugurated in the spring of 2008. Grace enrollment totals more than 1,300 college and seminary students, representing approximately 4- states and 20 foreign countries. Located in the northern Indiana community of Winona Lake, Grace College enrolls students from 30 denominations and many non-denominational churches and is associated with The Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches. Grace is committed to the classical and defining doctrines of historic Christianity and affirms the inerrancy of Scripture and the moral, spiritual, and historical authority of the Bible. Central to the mission is developing character, sharpening competence, and preparing for service. Foundational to this philosophy is the view that God has provided his authentic written revelation in the Bible, the Word of God. From this viewpoint the various disciplines and fields of study are explored, experienced, and applied. Our goal in Christian living and teaching is to make Christ preeminent in all things. The programs of the college, as well as its community lifestyle, are designed to encourage serious academic inquiry in an academic atmosphere devoted to excellence in scholarship, a biblical worldview, spiritual understanding, and social conscience—all in the context of God's grace. |
