Academic Engagement & Success Purpose Statement

Our office empowers all students to thrive on their academic and vocational journey through successfully transitioning students into college life, collaboratively supporting the process of continuous improvement, and purposefully connecting students to their callings.

Our FYE Student Mentor Team is eager to welcome, transition, and connect you to the Grace community!

Jacqueline Schram

Dean of Academic Engagement & Success, Accreditation Liaison Officer, Associate Professor of French

Jacqueline supports the continuous improvement of student success and learning at Grace by collaboratively leading in the ongoing development, implementation, and assessment of student learning and success.

Director of Student Success and First-Year Experience

Chasity oversees the First-Year Experience and provides collaborative and culturally responsive support for students’ successful transition and engagement in the Grace learning community.

Denise Terry

Director, Center for Career Connections

Denise oversees the Center for Career Connections, educating and preparing students for an effective career launch and connecting with community partners to support recruiting efforts. Additionally, Denise guides students in the choice of their academic major as advisor for all undeclared majors at Grace.
