Visual Art Camp

Visual art campers will take their artistic interest and abilities to the next level, developing creative skills in drawing, painting, and visual design. The week ends with an art exhibit in the Mount Memorial Art Gallery for campers to display their creative masterpieces!
Take a field trip to the Fort Wayne children’s zoo to sketch animals and habitats, the Fort Wayne Museum of Art will help campers learn about behind-the-scenes processes for collecting and displaying art. Campers will visit our local art galleries to gather inspiration for projects that will be developed into a final showcase for families to view on the last day of camp.
Campers will receive instruction and critique from Grace faculty and college art students from the Grace College Visual and Performing Arts Department in the School of Arts and Humanities.
Take home an art supply kit that includes acrylic paints, brushes, drawing pencils, a hand-made sketchbook and a canvas.

CAMPAMENTO DE ARTES VISUALES:

Los acampantes interesados en asistir al campamento de artes visuales explorarán sus habilidades artísticas y llevarán sus intereses a un nivel más avanzado, desarrollando habilidades creativas en dibujo, pintura y diseño visual.

• Realizaremos una excursión al zoológico infantil de Fort Wayne y al Museo de Arte de Fort Wayne buscando inspiración para los proyectos que se presentarán en una exhibición final para las familias de los acampantes el último día del campamento.

• Recibirás instrucción y consejos prácticos de los profesores e instructores del Departamento de Artes Visuales, Escénicas y de Medios de Grace College.

• Llévate a casa un kit de materiales de arte, que incluye pinturas, pinceles, lápices de dibujo, un cuaderno de bocetos y un lienzo.
