Student Senate

The purpose of the Student Senate is to serve students by providing a responsible and effective student voice in institutional policy and direction. This group’s purpose includes fostering a mutually beneficial relationship with the members of the faculty and administration and promoting personal growth for the student body through spiritual, educational, social, and cultural opportunities.

Student Senate accomplishes its mission through weekly meetings with class representatives and senators at large. Senate also writes proposals to the administration to enact change. At these meetings, Senate also approves and oversees clubs on campus.

“It is a joy to serve campus this year as Student Body President. My hope is to encourage student participation in Senate, as we work towards inclusive and effective policies that help every student belong and become at Grace!”
