Grace College classrooms are dynamic places. Here, students learn from knowledgeable professors about the fields they love and grow through every project, paper, and presentation. While we recognize there is a time to sit down and study, there is also a time to leave the classroom and put everything you’ve learned into practice.

At Grace, we know how important it is that you know what it’s like to work in your career before you graduate. As early as your first semester, you’ll find college internship programs right here in our community where real-world professionals will guide and encourage you.

By the time you graduate, you will be a confident, experienced individual, ready to show up at your first job with the skills you need to succeed. Take it from these four students, just a few of many who have benefited from Grace’s connections and passion for career readiness.

Connor Frentzel

College Internship Program: Lilly Center for Lakes and Streams

Role: Biology Intern

Major: Biology and Chemistry

Experience: After only one year of attending Grace, Connor started his internship with the Lilly Center. He tests samples from local lakes and streams for harmful e coli, helping the organization make the area’s waterways clean and healthy. According to him, he’s learning organization and mental awareness on an entirely new level. The internship is giving him field experience with the samples and equipment he’ll be using in his future career. Through this invaluable opportunity, he’s learning about how biology and chemistry can be applied practically.
