Chemistry Major
The Grace Chemistry degree prepares students for exciting careers in the world of molecules and atoms. Grace Chemistry is rooted in the understanding that God has created everything, even the invisible atoms that make up matter (Colossians 1:16). As students develop in their bench skills through performing chemical reactions, distillations and analyses, they come to know better the Creator who breathed these substances into existence. Students develop a rich understanding of chemical processes through courses in General, Organic, Bio and Physical Chemistry. Additionally, students have the opportunity to earn credit through participation in research projects and/or external internships.
A Grace Chemistry degree is an excellent choice for those who want to work in commercial or academic laboratories, or advance their studies through graduate school.
