From management to accounting and finance, Grace’s business administration degree is one of the most versatile programs in our School of Business. Ultimately, the degree will prepare you to help employees achieve their vocations, and your company fulfill its objectives.
In the School of Business, we hold God’s Word to the highest authority, and view business as a direct way to reflect who Jesus is. We believe the ultimate purpose of business is to serve other image-bearers, not to net a profit from consumers. This informs how we teach management, sales, and marketing. Your professors will practice what they preach. In fact, many of our students find that their time in the classroom leads to a mentor relationship with a professor.
You’ll take the School of Business’s core courses for your business administration degree, but your interests will inform how you design your curriculum. You’ll choose from courses in accounting, business, finance, informational systems management, management, marketing, or sports management. You can expect your core classes to be larger and lecture-based. As you specialize, you’ll take smaller discussion-based courses.
Ever wonder how you’d perform running your own business? You’ll find out in your senior seminar when you participate in the online Business Strategy Game. The BSG is a global online business simulation in which Grace students have historically performed well, often placing in the top ten globally. In 2023, two of our students ranked first worldwide.
You’ll also have the opportunity to compete in the Grace Business Plan Competition, in which you’ll present a business plan to professionals in the community for the chance to win up to $10,000 toward your company.
At Grace, we believe that hands-on experience is essential in preparing you for the world of business, which is why you’ll complete an internship before graduating. Warsaw, Indiana, is known as The Orthopedic Capital of the World®, and many of our students seeking internships take advantage of our connections with local orthopedic businesses. You may also decide to intern at a business in your hometown.
When you graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, you’ll be equipped to dive into the business sphere, leading your employees with competence and integrity. The program’s flexibility means you’ll be prepared for a variety of fields, whether it’s sales management, project management, management analysis, accounting, or financial advising.
