As a business management major at Grace, you’ll dive into the world of corporate leadership, preparing to serve an organization by managing projects through planning and coordination.

At Grace College, we believe the purpose of business is to serve God through serving others. Management entails honoring other image-bearers by providing them with resources to excel.

You’ll complete core business classes and business management major-specific courses throughout the degree. Your core courses will provide a foundation in business principles, such as marketing, economics, finance, and international business. Your major-specific courses will instruct you in areas such as leadership and motivation, human resources, human behavior in organizations, and product management.

With a management specialization concentration, you’ll choose the classes that best fit your gifts and interests, whether that’s small business entrepreneurship, supply chain management, or sales management.

The program will culminate in your senior entrepreneurship and service practicum, in which you’ll start and run a temporary business. Get ready to write a business plan, obtain a loan, commercialize your product, and donate your time and profits to a local nonprofit organization!

There’s no education like hands-on learning, so you’ll also complete an internship or practicum to complete the degree. Warsaw, Indiana, is known as The Orthopedic Capital of the World®, and many of our students seeking internships take advantage of our connections with local orthopaedic businesses. You may also decide to intern at an organization in your hometown.

When you graduate with a business management degree, you’ll be equipped to work in any kind of business management position, such as operations management, sales management, and training and development.
