As a digital marketing major at Grace, you’ll be equipped for the four main sectors of traditional and digital marketing: product development, pricing, distribution, and promotion. You’ll learn to apply your education to make wise, effective business decisions.

At Grace College, we believe that the purpose of business is to serve God through serving others. You’ll learn to market with respect and integrity, not manipulation and deception. Know that while you’ll be prepared to navigate the business world as it is, our highest priority is to train principled professionals with hearts centered on God.

Marketing is a quickly evolving field, and that’s why our faculty consistently updates course content with the latest research and trends. You can expect dynamic, hands-on classes full of real-world examples and applications in our program.

You’ll complete core business and marketing-specific classes throughout the digital marketing major. Your core courses will provide a foundation in business principles, such as management, economics, finance, and international business. Your concentration will determine your marketing courses.

A digital marketing concentration will train you to use technology effectively in the marketing sector. You’ll take courses covering content such as internet marketing, content marketing, email marketing, online advertising, web development, and marketing research.

There’s no education like hands-on learning, so you’ll also complete an internship experience. Local businesses in a variety of industries, such as food, retail, and entertainment, regularly request Grace interns. You may even work in our own award-winning marketing department!

When you graduate with a digital marketing degree, you’ll be prepared to use your education in any marketing sector. Graduates have gone on to work in areas such as sales, management, SEO, public relations, copywriting, social media, inbound marketing, and a variety of other positions that require a thorough understanding of marketing.

Digital Marketing FAQ's

Digital marketing is growing at an accelerated pace, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Because marketing is a quickly evolving field, our faculty consistently updates course content with the latest research and trends. After graduation, your digital marketing degree can take you anywhere, including careers like content marketing manager or social media coordinator.

In marketing research, data analytics, and other marketing courses, you will build a strong foundation in how to interpret data, conduct research, and apply insights to real-world marketing decisions. These courses also emphasize the effective and ethical use of AI, helping you learn how to leverage AI tools to enhance analysis, improve efficiency, and support decision-making, while maintaining academic integrity and professional responsibility.

Every marketing student completes a business practicum or internship before graduation, gaining valuable hands-on experience and professional networking opportunities while earning their degree. Internships in marketing allow students to apply classroom learning in real-world settings, develop practical skills, and contribute meaningfully to organizational goals.

Local businesses across a variety of industries, including orthopedics, marketing firms, food, retail, and entertainment, regularly request Grace interns. As a Grace student, you may even work in our own award-winning marketing department

Grace students complete four digital marketing courses that combine strategic insight with hands-on application. The Digital Marketing course introduces students to industry trends, emerging technologies, and the foundations of digital and social media marketing. Students then build on this knowledge through Online & Email Marketing, Social Media and Content Marketing, and Advanced Digital Marketing, where they apply strategic concepts by developing experiential projects with real businesses. This blend of theory and practice prepares graduates to develop, manage, and evaluate effective digital and social media marketing campaigns in today’s rapidly evolving marketplace.

Marketing students with a concentration in digital marketing gain a strong foundation in developing and executing effective marketing campaigns. Through their coursework, they learn essential principles such as audience targeting, content strategy, digital advertising, social media marketing, and campaign analytics. These concepts come to life through hands-on projects and experiential learning opportunities with real businesses.

Required internships provide students with the opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge in professional settings, where they help create and implement actual marketing campaigns. By graduation, students have built a portfolio of real-world experience that prepares them to make an immediate impact in their careers.

Are you wondering whether a digital marketing degree can prepare you for a career in nonprofits, ministries, or churches? Absolutely! A concentration in digital marketing equips you with versatile, in-demand skills that can be applied across virtually any industry or organization.

Whether you feel called to marketing in ministry or corporate organizations, you’ll graduate with the knowledge and experience to make an impact. Through coursework, internships in marketing, and hands-on projects with real organizations, you’ll learn how to connect with target audiences, tell compelling stories, and develop effective marketing strategies.
