Spanish Education Major

With a bachelor’s degree in Spanish Education, you will be required to get real-world experience ensuring you are equipped for jobs in teaching abroad, teaching middle school and high school, Teach for America, and countless other areas. 

With on-campus courses focusing on acquiring linguistic and cultural skills and a required Study-Abroad, you will master the Spanish language, developing competency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in authentic cultural settings. Students also take education courses in planning, instruction, management, and professionalism, and pursue applied learning experiences. You will spend time at a Spanish or Argentine institution abroad, encountering Spanish-speaking cultures first-hand. Spanish education majors will develop a dynamic Christian worldview as they encounter differing cultural values and beliefs, and learn to live intentionally as a global citizen.
