Looking for a College Church? Here is Your Guide to Churches in Warsaw, Indiana

Looking for Churches in Warsaw, Indiana near Grace College. Tips to help you know how to find a church that is best for your growth.

Going away to college brings lots of new and exciting changes. At Grace College, one of those changes is finding a church home near campus. Although we have chapel and growth group opportunities for spiritual development, we want every student to find a church in Warsaw, Indiana where they can serve, be fed, and meet members of the community.

Now for the all-important question: what do I look for in a church? This question of how to find a church may seem very broad and intimidating, but we’ll break it down for you:

First, do some research by checking out churches in Warsaw, Indiana. A great way to accomplish this is through Google Maps or by simply searching, “churches near me.” If the church has a website, visit it and read their “About” page. First-hand experience is always the best way to determine if you like a church, so take advantage of service recordings and live feeds that are offered.

Next, decide what your preferences are. Do you enjoy serving? Find out if the church you’re considering has opportunities for you. Do you prefer an earlier or later service time? Look on their website or ask other students to find a time that works. Other considerations include a connection group for college students, distance from campus, doctrinal beliefs, familiarity with attendees, and depth of preaching. Determining what you value most in a college church is a key step in finding the right place for you.

Finally, jump in! When that first Sunday on campus rolls around, pick a church from your list and go to a service. Invite friends to join you or get a ride with your RA. We want you to find a place where you can thrive, so if you’re not comfortable with the first church on the list, try out the second one. With diligence and open-mindedness, you’re sure to find a place that suits you well.

To aid you in the first step of this endeavor, we have picked eight churches in Warsaw, Indiana to help give you a taste of what you’ll find. Keep reading for location information, serving opportunities, doctrinal facts and website links.
