Winona IT Expands Partnership with Grace College, Provides $50,000 Grant to Advance Safe AI on Campus

Grace College and Grace Theological Seminary announce an expanded partnership with Winona IT to support safe and secure use of artificial intelligence (AI) across campus. Supported by a $50,000 grant from Winona IT, this investment reflects a shared commitment to innovation, ethical technology, and the preparation of future students and leaders. The grant will support the development of a custom web application for faculty, staff, and students that integrates modern AI tools into the academic experience.

“This gift from Winona IT will elevate our students’ learning and readiness for an AI-driven workplace,” said Gary Green. “It will help them develop valuable technological skills grounded in strong ethical and faith-based principles.”

Winona IT, a leading technology services provider in northern Indiana, continues its long-standing dedication to local education and innovation. Renewing its collaboration with Grace College further demonstrates the company’s investment in both student success and responsible technology advancement.

“At Winona IT, we believe technology should empower people while remaining safe and secure,” said Michael Pahl. “This partnership helps students harness AI responsibly and aims to meaningfully enhance the experience of faculty and staff, as well.”
