Dr. Belton’s research interests include substance use treatment and supervision, and athlete mental health.

Dr. Belton serves as Vice President for the Apple Valley Counselors Association, a chapter of the Virginia Counseling Association. She also serves as the faculty advisor for Alpha Chi Zeta, Grace College’s chapter of Chi Sigma Iota.

Clinically, Dr. Belton enjoys working with addiction, anxiety, career, or spiritual struggles. Before stepping into a teaching role, she gained clinical experience in residential addiction recovery and intensive outpatient group settings.
