Grace Story Podcast – Ep. 87: Joel Penton

Joel Penton is a graduate of The Ohio State University. There he completed his Bachelor in Communications and also competed as a defensive lineman for the Buckeyes Football team.

 After turning down an opportunity to play in the NFL, Joel turned to ministry and public speaking, founding Relevant Speakers, a network created to provide public schools with speakers who teach about important life choices in a positive way, and Joel himself became renowned as one of the most popular high school assembly speakers in the country.

Joel then founded LifeWise Academy, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing Bible teaching for students within the public school system. He is currently residing in the Columbus area with his wife Bethany and his five children.
