The Grace Shooting Sports Club (GSSC) continued its winning streak this past weekend during the Scholastic Clay Target Program Collegiate National Competition at the Cardinal Shooting Complex in Marengo, Ohio. The GSSC competed against teams representing colleges and universities from across the nation, participating in five different events: Trap, Skeet, Sporting Clays, Bunker Trap and 5-Stand. These events spanned four days, offering each participant the opportunity to shoot 800 targets.

The GSSC team took third place in its division in the Bunker (Olympic-Style) Trap event and the 5-Stand competition. Additionally, several team members had personal best performances throughout the weekend.

The GSSC is a shotgun shooting sports club focusing on gun safety, shooting skills and connecting with the shooting community. The GSSC strives to promote a positive image of shooting sports, provide opportunities for leadership development among members and enhance community awareness of safe shooting sports.

The GSSC is open to all Grace students and meets twice a month at KOSKO Shotgun Sports Complex, 2391 Fox Farm Road, Warsaw.
