Grace College Offers Free Tuition for Families with Income Under $60,000

Grace College continue to offer its Indiana Full Tuition Plan, which mean free tuition for families with income under $60,000!

Grace College will continue to offer its Indiana Full Tuition Plan, which provides free tuition for students whose families in Indiana have an Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) of $60,000 or less through a combination of federal, state and institutional aid, for its students in Fall 2024.

“We are thrilled that we can continue to make college more affordable for families in our state,” said Dr. Mark Pohl, vice president of enrollment management. “For many families, it is truly a game changer. Students who might not otherwise be able to attend college at all can now attend a Christian liberal arts school and choose from 100-plus majors and minors to study in a Christ-centered environment. Many of our already admitted students qualify, and are making plans to attend Grace.”

One such student attending this fall is Alana Garrett, of Fort Wayne, Indiana. A graduate of Northrop High School, Garrett first heard about Grace from a close friend.

“I was drawn to Grace because of the community, the teaching, the surrounding area, and the fact that it was close, but far enough from home,” said Garrett.

Garrett was already committed to attending Grace when she learned she qualified for the Indiana Full Tuition Plan. According to her, the additional financial aid has made a significant difference going forward.

“I found out about the financial aid less than a month before Welcome Weekend, so I was in complete shock,” said Garrett. “I know God has placed me at Grace for a purpose, and I am so thankful for the relieved burden of college costs. It has changed my financial situation completely.”

With hopes of becoming a nutritional therapist, Garrett will major in psychology and minor in nutrition this fall. She looks forward to helping others both mentally and physically to improve their overall health. But more than anything, she is looking forward to getting involved in the Christ-centered community at Grace.

“For Alana, the Indiana Full Tuition Plan means she can focus on her studies and enjoy campus life without having to stress about student payments and loans,” said Pohl. “We’re thankful that this is the case not only for her but for scores of other students at Grace as well.”

The Indiana Full Tuition Plan is awarded only to Indiana residents who complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the Indiana state deadline and have an AGI of $60,000 or less as calculated by the FAFSA. The plan is available to both residential and commuter students.
