I am currently an Adjunct Professor at Grace. This is my first college level teaching experience after many years in industry. I appreciate the smaller class size, which offers more time for student interaction and getting to know the students, as well as the freedom and ability to pray with students before class.

No recent publications (several in graduate school from 30 years ago).

I have nearly 30 years of mechanical engineering in the medical device industry, both as an engineer and engineering manager. I am able to take this practical experience and help the students understand some of the realities of what they will experience in “the real world”. It also helps me be able to tailor my teaching to what will have practical importance.

I enjoy using the artsy side of my brain as well as the techy side. I have played trombone for 40 years and currently play with the Grace Wind Ensemble and a brass quintet.
