The Lodge

True to its name, The Lodge has a modern, cabin-like feel. The main lobby has a fireplace and large windows overlooking the woods. It is a two-story residence hall that houses 37 women on one side and 32 men on the other side. The men’s and women’s sides each have their own lobby as well as centralized, shared lobby space. These lobbies are equipped with a television, couches, and tables and chairs. The Lodge offers two-, three-, or four-person rooms. While each hall has community-style bathrooms, individual rooms are equipped with a sink. Laundry facilities are on site. The Lodge is staffed by one Resident Assistant on each side as well as a male Resident Director and a female Assistant Resident Director.

Omega

Omega Hall is a 172 bed, three-story hall with men on the south floors and women on the north floors. Between the two floors, co-ed community spaces feature lobbies, a great room with community kitchen, a theater room, and study spaces. All rooms are 2-person capacity with a vanity & sink and residents share community bathrooms. This residence hall is led by a male Resident Director and a female Assistant Resident Director and 6 Resident Assistants.

All rooms in Omega are doubles (2 residents in each room). There are generally two types of rooms – “square” (approx. 12.5′ x 14′) and rectangle (approx. 11′ x 16′). Within that space is also the built in shelving/closet and a vanity/sink. Furniture for two provided – desk, dresser, bed, chair. Bathrooms in Omega are a combination of private and community-style facilities.

Lancer Lofts

Lancer Lofts is an upperclassmen, apartment-style residence hall that houses 40 men and 40 women in 10 town-house style apartments. This hall is intended to help students transition from college life to the world beyond Grace. All apartments have four bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, two washer-dryer sets, a living/dining area, and a full kitchen with plenty of storage. Each student is responsible for his or her own utilities and cable. Each bedroom is furnished with two desks, two dressers and two beds. The kitchen is fully furnished with a refrigerator and stove. The living area is also fully furnished. This dorm is seen as a privilege, and each resident is required to participate in apartment-based programs that work toward fulfilling the Residence Life vision.

Indiana Hall

Indiana Hall is a two-story residence hall that houses 65 women on the East side and 69 men on the West side. There are 19 two-person rooms that are suited with a bathroom between the suites, 12 four-person rooms that have a connecting bathroom, and 16 three-person rooms with a connecting bathroom. Each floor is equipped with a lobby that contains a television, computers, and space to relax with friends or study. Laundry facilities are on site. Indiana is staffed by three Resident Assistants on each side as well as a female Resident Director and a male Assistant Resident Director.

Westminster Hall

The first, third and fourth floors house 120 women and contain a mix of rooms that accommodate from one to four residents with each room having its own bathroom. Every student is provided with a bed, desk, dresser and closet space. Each floor has a lobby to lounge or study in that contains computers, a television and couches. Laundry facilities are in the basement. Westy residents also get to enjoy the proximity of the game room and lounge, which are located in the first floor of the building to provide fun and entertainment in the evenings.

Kent Hall

Kent Hall is an upperclassmen, apartment-style residence hall that houses 42 men on the South side and 49 women on the North side. This hall is intended to help students transition from college life to the world beyond Grace. Each resident applying for Kent Hall must be a junior or senior and have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA. Most apartments have two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room/dining area, a kitchen, a washer and dryer, and a patio/balcony with adjacent storage. Each student is responsible for his or her own utilities and cable. This dorm is seen as a privilege, and each resident is required to participate in apartment-based programs that work toward fulfilling the Residence Life vision. Kent Hall has a computer area, tables for games or study, sitting areas, and a television in its roomy lobby.

Each bedroom is furnished with two desks, two dressers and two beds. The kitchen is fully furnished with a refrigerator and stove. The living/dining area is furnished with a table, chairs and a couch.

Alpha Hall

Alpha Hall is made up of six halls on three floors. Rooms in Alpha house two women each and are “suite” style with two rooms sharing a bathroom that is situated between them. Each student is provided with a bed, desk, dresser and closet space. The furniture is stackable, offering many possible room configurations. Halls have two Resident Assistants, several Growth Group leaders, and around 30 students. Each floor has a spacious lobby to lounge or study in with computers, television and couches. A laundry room is in the lowest level. Alpha Dining Commons is on the basement level of this building, making it very convenient to eat healthy meals.

Beta Hall

“Beta is good.”

Beta Hall is a three-floor male residence hall sitting at the southeast corner of our campus overlooking the wooded area that contains our Creation Center. The floors each have 16 two- and three-man rooms and house about 32 male students. Each student is provided with a bed, desk, dresser and closet space. The furniture is stackable, offering many possible room configurations. Each floor is divided into two halls (North and South). Community bathrooms are on each hall. Each hall has a Resident Assistant, who oversees the spiritual and relational climate. Beta has a large, comfortable lobby and rec room in the basement, containing computers, televisions, a “long-pong” table, pool table, study areas and laundry facilities. Beta Basement also has comfortable couches that surround a cozy fireplace.

Encompass Apartments

Encompass Apartment Building is an 8-unit apartment-style residence hall for upperclass women, with a kitchen, two bedrooms, two baths, and a living/dining area in each apartment. Encompass also has a large community lounge.

Kauffman Hall

Kauffman Residence Hall contains a shared living space complete with kitchenettes, dining space, living rooms, laundry and a large basement lobby. Each student may share a room with two to three others. Each student is provided with a bed, desk, dresser and closet space. The furniture is stackable, offering many possible room configurations. Residents of Kauffman Residence Hall are just across the street from the Gordon Recreation Center.

Boyer Apartments

Lamp Post Hall

Grace College also provides a living option for Graduate and married students at LampPost manor. This two-story building has 12 apartments, a basement storage area, and laundry room. Residents pay monthly rent and have the option of renting furniture to furnish their apartment.

Perimeter Halls

Gamma C is an apartment-style hall located on Maple Road just east off Kings Highway. This two-story building features a spacious yard and laundry facilities in the basement. 16 men live in the four apartments in Gamma C. Each apartment includes a living room, two bedrooms, one bathroom and a kitchenette with a microwave, sink, refrigerator and cabinets. Each bedroom houses two men. Each student is provided with a bed, desk, dresser and closet space. The furniture is stackable, offering many possible room configurations. Living room furniture and televisions are not provided.
