Grace Story Podcast – Ep.98: Dr. Nate Bosch

Our impetus is the Word of God and discovering where we can make an impact on our local community.

Today’s guest is Dr. Nate Bosch, someone who believes and lives out this reality. He received his B.A. from Trinity Christian College and his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in the field of limnology. Has over 20 peer-reviewed publications spanning research in the Great Lakes to smaller inland lakes and streams. He has been awarded the Chandler Misner Award twice by the International Association of Great Lakes Research which signifies the most notable journal article for that year.

Here at Grace, he is the Dean, School of Science and Engineering; Professor of Environmental Science & Director, Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams. He has been instrumental in the Lilly Center receiving several K21 Health Foundation research grants.

As if all of that weren’t enough, Nate finds time to spend time with his wife and four kids enjoying water sports, cave exploration, and traveling to national parks.

You can learn more about Dr. Nate Bosch and the Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams at www.lakes.grace.edu. Be on the lookout for their new podcast streaming this fall, The Lake Doctor.
