Whether you like mountain, road, or paved path biking, we have it all accessible right here from campus! Across the road from campus is nearly 10 miles of single-track mountain bike/running trails. If you prefer a leisurely bike ride, start your trek on the 5.5+ miles of paved Greenway Paths which directly connect our campus to the community. Finally, there are 180 miles of marked road bikeways throughout our county.

There are numerous lakes, ponds, and rivers on which to fish. Webster, Lake Tippecanoe & James, and the Barbee Chain have excellent world-class muskie fishing opportunities. We are proud of our lakes! The Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams at Grace College takes care of the lakes and streams in Kosciusko County by conducting research and working with the community. The Grace College Campus is within a half-mile of Winona Lake, and near Lake Wawasee, and Tippy Lake. All of these lakes provide endless hours of on-the-water fun. Visit the Lake House to rent paddleboarding or kayaks!

Warsaw and Winona Lake have a great restaurants and unique eateries! Some of these are located just down the hill at the Village at Winona.

Warsaw and Winona Lake boast of its performing arts centers including the Wagon Wheel Theater. Wagon Wheel brings Broadway-quality shows to town and the best part --it is a theater-in-the-round! For history buffs, the town of Winona Lake is historically rich, being the home of renowned evangelist Billy Sunday. Winona Lake was once a place of relaxation, tent revivals, and summer tourism. Grace College has wonderful golf teams and you have the opportunity to use several great courses in our community: Stonehenge Golf Club, Rozella Ford Golf Course, and Raccoon Run Golf Course.

For those of you who like shopping, Warsaw and Winona Lake have something for everyone. Walk down the hill from campus and you will find the Village at Winona, with specialized shops. Come here to find great gifts, fitness goods, cooking supplies, and hand-made items that you are sure to love. We also have great consignment shops in town as well as the classics: TJ Maxx, Kohl’s, Walmart, Ulta, etc. Don’t forget the local boutiques in downtown Warsaw!

Celebrating 18 years, the annual Art Fair is one of Winona Lake’s most popular events! Another popular event is The Northern Indiana Lakes Festival which offers free and educational fun to residents and visitors of Kosciusko County.

-Optimist Triathlon: a non-profit race that brings in over 600 racers

-Lake City Skiers Water Ski Show Team: extreme jump acts, an all-girl ballet line, barefoot water skiing, swivel skiing, doubles routines and human pyramids

Warsaw is the Orthopaedic Capital of the World with companies such as DePuy (a Johnson & Johnson Company), Medtronic, Paragon Medical, and Zimmer Biomet. These connections, as well as 286 other internship opportunities, are invaluable to our students.
