What to Expect

Chapel

Chapel meets most Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. in the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center. Find out who’s speaking by looking at the chapel schedule.

Class Visit

During your visit, you can choose to attend a class. Classes are generally two hours and 20 minutes long, but visitors only sit in for 30 to 45 minutes. If you would like to attend a class during your visit, the Visitor’s Center can help you find one in your area of interest. Please see our class schedule.

Meeting a Coach or Professor

We can request a time for you to meet with a coach if you are interested in participating in a sport at the collegiate level. Find out more about becoming a Lancer athlete. Also, feel free to contact the coaches directly if you would like. We can also request a time for you to meet with a professor in the area of study you wish to pursue in college. If you are unsure of what you want to study in college and you want a little help in your decision making process, you can meet with someone in Career Services.

Admissions/Financial Aid Meeting

During your visit, you have the opportunity to meet with your admissions counselor to discuss the enrollment process, scholarships, financial aid and other aspects of Grace College. At your request, we can also set up a meeting for high school seniors to talk directly with the financial aid office.

Overnight in a Residence Hall

High school juniors and seniors or those under the age of 24 can stay overnight in a residence hall any night Sunday through Thursday. If you know someone on campus who you would like to stay with, just let us know. Otherwise, we have students that would love to host you for an evening. Remember to bring your sleeping bag, pillow, towel and personal items. Contact Admissions at (866) 974-7223 to make overnight arrangements. Parents can choose to stay in one of our local lodging options.

Alpha Dining Commons

During your visit, we will provide meal passes to Alpha Dining Commons for you and your parents for one day. If you would like to purchase additional meal passes, you can purchase them at the entrance to Alpha Dining (card only). Get more details here.

Student Activities

If you would like to participate in any extracurricular activities during your visit such as watching a sporting event, attending a drama production, etc., please check out our campus calendar for upcoming events. The Visitor’s Center can get you Game Day passes for any athletic event.
