Noah Rose Schumacher

Noah Rose Schumacher love for storytelling has been evident since the beginning. There is proof a camera was in her hands by two years old.

Stories are not unique to literature. Art is not confined to a canvas. Whether fictional or real life, both narratives and compositions capture the tangible shapes, senses, and snapshots of life that people experience. But these attempts at creativity can only begin to reflect those of the Greatest Artist and Author of our faith! Even so, Christ-followers are called to use their vision to give glory to the Creator of the universe.

Noah’s love for storytelling has been evident since the beginning. There is proof a camera was in her hands by two years old. She composed books before she could write, illustrating the pages and making her mom write the words. Reading chapter books and acting out the scenes with her siblings was a priority by age five.

The approach Noah takes to art and photography focuses much on this concept. Whether through fine art, photography, or creative writing, everything she creates contains a greater narrative. Noah’s purposeful color choices, visual appeal, and detailed editing show this.

Her art encourages the viewers to become storytellers as well. It invites the observer to create her or his own interpretation. Whether Noah’s work advocates for social change, discusses religious apathy, or addresses human struggles, her creativity always has purpose behind it.

Her desire for change can be seen in her creative process as well. The importance of new experiences and continuous learning adds to her belief that there should be no set place to create art. An artist should be constantly experiencing new places and learning new things. After all, the more a creator knows, the more intelligent the design. Even artistic intuition results from a place of former knowledge. In this way, her experience living in other cultures, her education, her passion for art, and her love for Jesus all contribute to the storyteller Noah has become.
