Native Shorelines Workshop
Sunday, August 16, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
The Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams
Native plants are extremely important for local wildlife and for water quality. This workshop, led by Mike VanLaeken of Heartland Restoration, will discuss when and how to utilize native plants on shorelines to reduce erosion, provide habitat for fish and wildlife, and create a beautiful backdrop to your lake view. You will be given the opportunity to look at an aerial view of your own property during the workshop as Mike guides you through the process of planning and implementing a shoreline project.
