“Then Jesus said to His disciples, ‘If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross and follow Me.” [Matthew 16:24]

This is our 2021-22 campus theme. This year, we are taking a deep dive through the book of Matthew and examining the command found in Matthew 16:24, which calls us to humility, self-sacrifice, and a singular focus – Jesus Christ himself. We are eager and expectant to see how God continues to use this theme in the lives of students through our weekly chapels, growth groups, and core Bible courses. This holiday season we’ll be featuring student spotlights of how the theme is already impacting student lives! We pray that many students would point back years from now and say, “That was when I really began to understand what it means to be a disciple of Christ.”

The words “Follow Me” don’t just apply to our students. They apply to each of us. We invite you to join us on this journey through Matthew, and we encourage you to ask, “What does it look like for me to follow Him in this season of my life? To what, to whom, and to where is He leading me?” As a Grace family, let’s live out the ways of Grace as we follow Him together. Let’s welcome with unmatched hospitality. Let’s embrace with relentless mercy. And let’s give with radical generosity. Let’s live in such a way that those around us are spurred to ask, “Whom are they following?”
