Maplewood Christian Church of Ravenna, Ohio is searching for an individual for the position of Pastor. The pastor is responsible for

  1. Sunday morning services
  2. Wednesday night Bible Studies
  3. Pastoral and hospital invitation
  4. Personal ministry to the congregation
  5. Occasional counseling
  6. General oversight of the ministries of the church. 

The candidate should have a desire to reach the lost as well as minister to those within the church. The pastor is responsible to the board of elders which is elected annually by the congregation.

Clinton Frame Mennonite Church, an Anabaptist evangelical congregation with typical Sunday morning attendance of around 400, is searching for a Pastor of Community Life.  Our vision statement is. “We will seek to be like Jesus: we will pray, read the Bible, listen, love others, and share our faith.”

This Pastor will be responsible for

  1. Pastoral Care
  2. Counseling
  3. Overseeing the Brotherhood fund
  4. Preaching up to once a month.

We are looking for…

  • A person of Spiritual maturity and depth.
  • One who radiates a natural sense of care for the wellbeing of others and is a comforting presence.
  • A person who understands and is able to relate to the pressures our young families face in today’s culture.
  • One who has a presence of hospitality and is approachable.

Above everything, we desire a man who has a genuine walk with God. We want a man who does truly love Him “with all his heart and soul and mind and strength.” Also, we want him to have agreement with our church doctrinal statement.  In regard to his public ministry, we want a man who is fully committed to teaching God’s Word with a goal that people clearly understand what He is saying and how it should impact their lives.  In regard to shepherding, we want a man who really loves people and evidences a genuine concern for their welfare.
  1. Meets the qualifications of an elder (1 Tim 3; Titus 1).
  2. Is married, and whose wife supports his ministry.
  3. Is thoroughly prepared academically, preferably with an MDiv degree from a biblically faithful seminary.
  4. Has the ability to lead a youth/student ministry.
  5. Is capable of giving Biblical counsel.

  7. Has the ability to teach in various situations such as ABFs.
  8. Is passionate for discipleship.
  9. Has a heart for evangelism, outreach and world missions.
  10. Has a desire to minister and visit church members of all ages.

Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Warsaw, IN – a church of 400 located in northern Indiana is seeking a unique individual with the rare combination of leadership, pastoral and organizational skills to be a member of our pastoral staff.  As a member of the pastoral leadership, the Assistant Pastor will assist in the Mission of WEPC and demonstrate Our Core Values of G R A C E in all aspects of their ministry within the church and community. The Assistant Pastor is responsible for creating, leading and shepherding programs in key areas of the church.  The ideal candidate must be charismatic, loyal, honest, straightforward and demonstrate the ability to delegate, sense talent, train and follow up. A Master of Divinity degree is required for this position.

There is a HIGH emphasis on: Youth – This individual will plan and implement curriculum and programs which result in graduates who live for Christ.  Small Groups – The Assistant Pastor will enhance and grow this ministry.

Additional responsibilities for this position include: Preaching – the Assistant Pastor will have demonstrated skill in preaching the Word of God.  Assimilation and Outreach – the Assistant pastor will support the activities and actions to provide connections to the family of believers through the church. Greater Warsaw is an area of approximately 30,000 people and known as the “orthopedic capital of the world.” The city is in Kosciusko County (population 75,000) which offers many activities and more than 100 lakes. Senior Pastor Position Available – NE Connecticut

Eastford Baptist Church is over 200 years old. It is an evangelical fundamental church with about 190 attenders. It is an active church with very good children and youth programs. Its annual budget is about $340,000 of which over 25% goes to missionary support. The church has a sanctuary that holds approximately 300 and a separate Family Activity Center with classrooms and a gym. It also has a parsonage.

Eastford is a small rural town in NE Connecticut It is a town of about 1800 people. It is mostly farm land and forest. It has a K-8 elementary school, a bank, a lumberyard, a café, a post office, and a car dealer. The nearest town with a large supermarket is about 15 miles.

Pastor Needed – Mortons Corners Baptist Church

Mortons Corners Baptist Church is a Christ-centered, Bible-believing church.  Our goal is proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, discipling new believers, baptizing and serving the Body of Christ.  The church is lead by a senior pastor and currently has two deacons, one deaconess, four trustees, church clerk, treasurer, financial secretary and a Sunday school superintendent.  The only paid position is the lead pastor.

The demographic makeup of our members and attendees is varied due to its rural location.  There are blue collar workers, farmers, self-employed, business owners and various other occupations represented.  The congregation as a whole is a very loving, caring and giving group of Jesus followers who are eager to encourage, assist, “jump in” and help where needed.

The 200 year old church building is nestled in a rural setting in the southeastern corner of Erie County, New York, in the middle of a rich farming area in the township of Concord, only 5 miles west of the village of Springville (10,000 residents).

Responsibilities of the Pastor including preaching a Sunday morning sermon and Wednesday night study and prayer as well as evangelistic outreach and counseling.
