A Tradition Unlike Any Other
That title is borrowed from The Master’s golf tournament and CBS. I’ve been thinking recently about how that also applies to Grace Theological Seminary.
Since our beginning in 1937, GTS has been training men and women for service to Christ. But there are many educational institutions which have been doing the same thing, what makes Grace, ‘unlike any other’? One unique trait is the Grace Seminary family. Over 4,000 missionaries, scholars, and pastors have graduated from GTS and continued on to impact the world for Jesus Christ. Alums and faculty membres have led Bible Conferences, authored books, assisted in Bible translations, such as the NASB, New Living Bible, NIV, and NKJV. But more importantly, they have willing served God in His work of transforming lives and making disciples of Christ, thus fulfilling the Great Commission.
I was representing the school at a pastors conference in Michigan last week and I numerous conversations with GTS alums who were more than happy to talk about our heritage and our present status. This wasn’t the first time this has happened to me either. It seems like every place I go, I get the opportuntiy to meet those who have directly or indirectly been impacted Grace. It is a great privilege to represent the school and share with prospective students all that God can do in and through them at Grace Theological Seminary. All glory to God for how His grace has worked through GTS!
