Additionally, she did not make a field error in nine opportunities while managing Grace’s center field. She was 2-for-2 in Grace’s upset of league-leader Taylor on Tuesday.
Adams (Northeastern HS) was the Co-Softball Pitcher of the Week. She earned three of Grace’s four wins on the mound this week. The freshman hurler struck out 17 batters in 14.1 innings while only walking three batters.
Her standout performance came against league-leading Taylor. She allowed just one run and three hits in 5.1 innings, leading the Lady Lancers to a 2-1 victory.
The Lady Lancers are currently tied for fourth place in the CL standings, two games out of second place under head coach Heather Johnson. Grace is scheduled to host Bethel on Tuesday and Mt. Vernon Nazareneon Friday at Miller Field.
