Vice President of Financial Affairs Honored with Distinguished Alumni Award

Paul Blair, recently hired vice president of Financial Affairs (CFO) at Grace College, was honored this past weekend with the School of Business Distinguished Alumni Award by his alma mater, Eastern Illinois University, where he received his bachelor’s in business in 1985 and his MBA in 1992.

With over two decades of Fortune 500 company experience, Blair is a respected financial leader in the Warsaw/Winona Lake area.  He has expertise in investor relations, strategic planning, business development, and financial reporting. In the past, he has served as vice president of investor relations at Zimmer Holdings, vice president of strategic planning and development at Owens & Minor (Richmond, VA), and director of investor relations at Bindley Western Industries.

The School of Business Distinguished Alumni Award was established in 1971. The award is presented to individuals who have distinguished themselves in the business field, and who, through their accomplishments and service, have brought prestige to their alma mater.

“I was pleasantly surprised when Eastern contacted me and asked if I would be willing to accept the distinguished alumni nomination,” said Blair.  “When I think of all of the graduates, who could have been selected to receive such recognition, it is truly a humbling honor to have received this award.”
