Grace College and TCU Foundation Award Local Student with Scholarship

Marissa Rico, Financial Freedom Grant Award recipient

Due to the tremendous growth and innovation at Grace College, the TCU Foundation has provided Grace College with a $5,000 Financial Freedom Grant Award for a local student. This year, Marissa Rico was given the award. Rico lives in Warsaw, Indiana with her parents and sister and will be attending Grace in the fall as a biology major, with long-term-term goals of pursuing a career as a cosmetic dermatologist.

“The Admissions Office is pleased that Marissa Rico has received the TCU Financial Freedom Grant Award,” said Mark Pohl, director of admissions at Grace. “Marissa is a great student and all-around person, and Grace College will be better for having Marissa among the incoming class. We are proud to offer her this award!”

Record-breaking enrollments at Grace College have resulted from program innovation, cost containment and expanded financial assistance. Students locally, regionally and nationally are choosing Grace College as their school of choice, and many of these students choose to live and work in Kosciusko County after graduating. Over 3,000 Grace alumni reside in Kosciusko County.

Grace College is working with local TCU personnel to increase its number of enhanced business development, outreach and marketing opportunities to further expand its membership and promote its services to Grace College faculty, staff and students.
