Concordia Creation Conference Hosts Grace Professor Dr. Don DeYoung as Keynote Speaker

On July 8-10, 2013, Concordia University Wisconsin is hosting a creation conference with the theme, “The Heavens Declare: What Astronomy Can Tell Us about Biblical Creation.” Dr. Don DeYoung, chair of the Science and Mathematics Department at Grace College, will be one of the keynote speakers during the conference, speaking on topics such as “Our Nearest Neighbor, the Moon” and “The Discovery of Design.”

DeYoung is a graduate of Michigan Tech University, Iowa State University (Ph.D., Physics), and Grace Theological Seminary. He is currently president of the Creation Research Society, which boasts 1,700 members worldwide. DeYoung speaks and writes on a broad range of creation topics and believes that the details of nature are a powerful testimony to the Creator’s care for mankind.

The Society of Creation, a 52-member creation organization within the Concordia University System of ten universities is cosponsoring the conference with Concordia University Wisconsin. The conference is open to members of all denominations. For full conference schedule and information, visit
