Job Description
Associate Pastor, Minister of Students & Worship
Specific Responsibilities
His primary role is to be the Pastor to Students (6th through 12th Grade) and their Families
- Responsible for and the development of an overall Student Ministry Strategy (w/ the SM Team).
- Responsible for RCP Compliance throughout the ministry and serve on the Safety & Security Team
- Oversight and working directly with the Student Ministries Team as the Team Coordinator
In addition, assist the Pastor with the Worship & Children’s Ministries
- Responsible for and the development of an overall Worship Ministry Strategy (w/ the Pastor).
- Responsible for and the development of an overall Children’s Ministry Strategy (w/ the CM Coordinator)
Staff Responsibilities
- Continue to be above reproach in the qualifications of a Pastor/Teacher (1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1)
- Grow in personal walk and devotion to Christ (Philippians 1:9-11)
- Attended church meetings when needed
- Support and fulfill the vision and core values of MBC
- Hold to the MBC Statement of faith

- 130+ year old independent Baptist church
- Located in Milan, Michigan, suburb of Ann Arbor
- Average Sunday morning worship attendance = 200
- Average Wednesday night Awana program attendance = 90, Thursday night “Your Spot” youth outreach attendance = 100
- Other programs – Single adult ministry, weekly men’s meeting groups, ladies Bible study, Thursday evening prayer meeting, Sunday School and youth programs
- Provide monthly support for a number of missionaries
