Grace College Named NAIA Five-Star Institution

Grace College received a prestigious honor by being named an NAIA Champions of Character Five-Star Institution for the 2011-12 academic year.

Grace’s athletic programs displayed remarkable character during the past academic year. The Lancers’ student-athletes and coaching staffs organized food drives, served at a number of community organizations, promoted cancer awareness at matches and traveled out of the country on international sport ministry trips during the past year.

The Crossroads League was also recognized as a Champions of Character Five-Star Conference after eight league institutions earned the five-star rating.

Institutions are measured on a demonstrated commitment to character and receive points in character training, conduct in competition, academic focus, character recognition and character promotion.

Schools can also gain points based on exceptional student-athlete GPA and by obtaining zero ejections during competition.
