YOUTH PASTOR NEEDED – Berne, IN
First Mennonite Church in Berne, IN is seeking a part-time youth pastor. This position involves partnering with the Christian education director to oversee youth programs and events for grades 6th-12th.
This role will include:
- Relationship building and mentoring youth
- Wednesday night services
- Sunday School
- Sunday evenings twice a month (small groups meet the other two Sundays)
- Organize trips, retreats, service projects, etc.
- Administrative responsibilities would include working with youth leaders to set and oversee the budget and maintain website (www.firstmennoniteyouth.org/).
Qualifications for applicants should include: experience working with youth, demonstrating a teachable spirit, and working closely with the pastoral staff.
