Pastor for Student Ministries – Community Bible Church, Omaha NE
Community Bible Church of Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a youth pastor who exudes a passion for Christ. The youth pastor will be able to partner with parents in raising their children toward spiritual maturity, and will have the ability to relate to young people. It is important that he be able to teach and lead in both face to face and group settings. He is expected to be creative and thorough in planning regular and special youth activities. An ability to recruit and supervise a volunteer staff is crucial. His relational skills should be a magnet to involve the committed students, as well as drawing in those who are less active in Church activities.
Priority will be given to candidates who have experience in the oversight of a church youth ministry utilizing numerous volunteers and who desire to remain in ministry to students for a number of years.
Community Bible Church is situated in the heart of suburban SW Omaha. The Church is a growing ministry with three worship services each Sunday morning, and typical attendance of over 400. The senior pastor is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary and has been on staff for 25 years. Community Bible Church is affiliated with the Fellowship of Evangelical Bible Churches.
