Grace Intramural Program to Offer Event for Local High School Students

The Grace Intramural Program (GIP) is putting on an indoor soccer tournament. This event is a chance to connect local Warsaw and Lakeland Christian high school students with Grace College.

GIP aims to bring more than 100 students to the Baker Youth Club in Warsaw, IN, on Saturday, February 25. The event starts at 7pm and will be free for both admission and participation. Teams composed of five players will need to arrive early to register for the tournament. The winning team will also receive championship t-shirts. Spectators are welcome.

In addition to having the indoor soccer tournament, other activities will be available for students to participate in, including a game room. Food and drinks will also be provided at no additional charge, but donations will be accepted. Grace student and student intramural director, Zane Gard, says the goal of the event is to give students an opportunity to interact with volunteer students from Grace and to jumpstart high school involvement and interest in the intramural program.

Those who are interested in volunteering or have questions about the event should email Gard at gardza@grace.edu.
