The William P. Gordon Institute for Enterprise Development and United Way of Kosciusko Provide Tax Assistance Program for Local Community

The William P. Gordon Institute through the School of Business at Grace College and United Way of Kosciusko County have partnered to bring the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program (VITA) to Kosciusko County for the second year.

Tim Ziebarth, of the William P. Gordon Institute, says “Bringing VITA to Kosciusko County is important because we can help low-income, elderly, and disabled families get their income tax returns prepared at no cost.”

Grace College students and alumni, along with local community members, have been specifically trained to provide tax assistance through VITA. To learn more about eligibility for tax assistance, as well as when and where appointments can be scheduled, or to set up an appointment, individuals may call 2-1-1.
