Grace College Recognizes Business Honor Society Inductees
The Grace College School of Business recently inducted fifteen 2017 graduates to Sigma Beta Delta, the international honor society in business, management and administration. The inductees are: Caleb Adams, Thomas Carini, Megan Carpenter, Frani Gerst, Emily Guinter, Colin Hayes, Rachel Jones, Gabrielle Lawrence, Adam Miller, Ryan Mundy, Phillip Olson, Tiffany Schuman, Marina Tolczyk, Gabriel Vervynckt and Joel Wesco.
Sigma Beta Delta honors students with superior records in business programs in colleges and universities with regional accreditation. Today, over 400 chapters exist with more than 80,000 members world-wide. This year’s Grace College inductees earned a cumulative GPA of at least 3.848, representing the top 20% of business students at Grace.
“It’s our pleasure to recognize these outstanding students with a special designation,” said Dr. Jeff Fawcett, dean of the School of Business at Grace College. “Their membership in Sigma Beta Delta signifies the diligence they brought to their studies at Grace, and it serves as an indicator to future employers of the students’ caliber,” he said.
