Lancer Basketball Band

The Lancer Basketball Band (LBB) is an instrumental ensemble that supports the men’s and women’s basketball teams. They provide an energetic atmosphere through popular music and support of the team, cheerleaders, coaches, and fans during games.

This ensemble is open to all students who play brass, woodwind, percussion, auxiliary percussion, bass guitar, electric guitar, and keyboard instruments. The band begins rehearsals in the fall semester and plays weekly throughout the basketball season. To receive credit for this ensemble, members must attend all rehearsals beginning in the fall and all games as scheduled. Following this, one ensemble credit may be received in the spring semester.
