National Association of Schools of Music (NASM)

National Association of Schools of Music (NASM) is the professional accrediting agency for Music Departments across the nation. Grace College, with its School of Music, having successfully completed NASM review in 1999-2000, is delighted to be a member of that organization.


North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA)

The Division of Education is one of the divisions in the college. All elementary, middle school, and secondary programs are supervised by the Division. The Teacher Education Department was first accredited by the state of Indiana in 1954. The college, originally the undergraduate division of Grace Theological Seminary, was founded in 1948. The college is accredited by the North Central Association of colleges and Schools.

National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE)

The Teacher Education Department at Grace College is fully accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), www.ncate.org.

Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI)

The Division of Education is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International. Similar to other accrediting bodies, the ACSI examines the faculty, curriculum, and procedures of education programs to ensure that they meet stringent ACSI guidelines.
