Lady Lancer Track Finishes 4th at Goshen Invitationals

(3/29/08) Goshen, Ind.-The women's track team had some very strong performances on a cold, blustery day at the Goshen Invitational. Kristin Hawkins lead the way with a win in the 5000 that was a PR and in proved her NCCAA qualifying time from last week. MariJean Wegert placed second in the 800 with a PR and NCCAA qualifying time of 2:26.62. Kiera Gray placed 4'th in the high jump with a school record tying and NCCAA qualifying jump of 5' 0". She jumped very well coming off a sprained ankle. So far, seven women have qualified for NCCAA Nationals in 8 different events.
