  <p>Solid Performance by Women's Track at Anderson</p>
  <p>The Grace women's track team continued its strong season with more school 
    records, NCCAA qualifiers and personal records. Kirah Fifield took .15 seconds 
    off her school record in the 55 hurdles with a third place finishing time 
    of 8.77. She also tied Joscelyn Buford's school record time in the 55 dash 
    with a second place finish in 7.68. Buford was a close third in 7.69. </p>
  <p>Amy Misak set a school record in the mile with a 4th place finishing time 
    of 5:37.08. MariJean Wegert qualified for NCCAA Nationals in the 400, finishing 
    third in 1:03.68. Caryn Britton improved her weight throw by over three feet 
    with an NCCAA qualifying mark of 38' 9.5" </p>
  <p>In the 1000, Mary MacLeod ran her best race of the season finishing 5th in 
    3:44.32. Kristin Hawkins placed 5th in the 5000 with a time of 19:48.54. In 
    the 800 Heather Vaughn and Amy Misak finished 8th and 9th in 2:35.71 and 2:36.07. 
    Jenna Freeman finished 9th in the 200 with a time of 30.00 and 10th in the 
    55 with a time of 8.35 Samantha Bergsma placed 12th in the weight throw with 
    a toss of 31' 10.75" </p>
  <p>Heather Vaughn, Leah Jennys, Jenie Neuenshwander and Erica Bare placed 5th 
    in the 4x400 relay with a time of 4:53.23. Kirah Fifield, Heather Vaughn, 
    MariJean Wegert and Joscelyn Buford just missed the school record with a winning 
    time of 1:55.11. Freeman, MacLeod, Jennys and Bare were third with a time 
    of 2:07.67. </p>
  <p>The women compete next Saturday at Indiana Wesleyan. This is their final 
    regular season indoor meet. </p>
  <p>"I expect to see a strong finish to the season," said head coach Neal Butler. 
    "Everyone is running strong and our few injured are returning to compete. 
    I am very proud of this team and their strong desire to compete at their highest 
    level possible. It is a joy to watch them race and to coach them." </p>
