Jonathan Rex - Men's Track & Cross Country

Grace's track and cross country program has signed Spencerville (OH) High School standout Jonathan Rex for the 2011 season.

Jonathan is a four-year member of both the track and cross country programs at Spencerville. He was named All-Conference in the North West Conference three straight years in cross country, served as team captain and qualified for the state meet. In track, he was named All-Conference by the North West Conference, qualified for state, and received the prestigious Runner of the Year in the North West Conference for 2010.

"I loved Grace because they are not only interested in my running, but my relationship with the Lord," Jonathan said. "I hope to help both the track and cross country programs build success, and I want to excel in the classroom."

At Grace, Jonathan is currently undecided about his major, but desires to maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA.

"Jonathan has a great deal of potential in distance running," said Spencerville head cross country coach Brian McMichael. "We look forward to following his success, and I know he will develop very well at Grace."

Jonathan is the son of Rodger Rex and Mike and Debra Hurles.

Greg Davies - Men's Cross Country

The Grace College cross country team has added former Seneca High School standout Greg Davies.

Greg is a transfer from Baptist Bible College. He was a varsity award winner all 4 years in high school and also competed three years in tennis.

"I chose Grace College because of the Christian atmosphere," Greg said. "I hope to help the program be successful and grow in all areas of my life."

He intends to major in Marketing/Graphic Design.

He is the son of Greg & Karen Davies.
