Hall of Fame
The Grace College Athletic Department Hall of Fame There were 10 inductees in the inaugural class of 2008. The inductees have brought much distinction and honor to Grace College and have established a tradition of Christian excellence which is incomparable. Their achievements have touched everyone associated with Grace College both in and out of the arena of athletics. From the inception of intercollegiate athletics at Grace to the present, none have better exemplified the true spirit of Christian athletic competition at Grace than these honored players, coaches, administrators and community supporters. After the inaugural year of 2008, there are four members inducted into the Hall each year and the elite club is recognized through plaques that are located in the Orthopaedic Capital Center. Emphasis upon Christian values, moral character and personal integrity with a passion for Grace College are part of the criteria for induction. Each year, names can be submitted (nominated) and will be given consideration
by the entire Hall of Fame committee. The Hall of Fame committee is
comprised of ten representatives and headed by the Athletic Director,
Chad Briscoe. The inductees are announced in the summer and formally
inducted into the Hall of Fame at a banquet during Homecoming the
following fall. If you would like to nominate a former Lancer athlete,
coach or contributor, please fill out the nomination form found on
the athletic website and submit through email to: Director of Athletics,
Chad Briscoe at chad.briscoe@grace.edu |
