The purpose of the Grace College cheerleading organization is to provide leadership for the student body, promote and assert school spirit, support athletic teams, develop respectable character and foster personal growth by teaching responsibility, dependability, cooperation, and discipline maintaining high standards and excellence in both academics and physical fitness all while glorifying the Lord.
We are seeking individuals for the program who are committed to excellence both in their cheer skills as well as their relationship with the Lord. We are looking for individuals who are passionate and dedicated to the sport and ready to put in the work necessary to build the program and team. Our purpose is to glorify the Lord through our athletic abilities while leading the crowd during athletic contests to keep our teams encouraged and focused.
We are currently an all-female squad with a capacity for 20 or more individuals and the availability to be a co-ed team. The team cheers for all home men's and women's basketball games. There is a time commitment of approximately 12 to 15 hours per week which includes games, practices, work-outs and other activities. We practice Tuesday and Thursday evenings for two hours each day.
Athletic scholarships are available for those that qualify for the team.

Join student leaders Josh Hamrick and Amy Forbes as the Lancer Pep Band supports Grace Athletics. The Pep Band, which performs at men’s and women’s basketball games, is often joined by area high school pep bands. It’s an exciting way to show school spirit!
If you have any questions about the pep band or would like to get involved, contact the director, Eric Criss, at 800-544-7223 ext. 6347.
