What is the Grace Fund?
Since Grace College and Seminary is a relatively young institution (as higher education organizations go), we are mainly a tuition-driven school. However, student tuition, room, board, and other fees aren’t enough to meet our yearly costs. The difference must come from gifts and contributions to the Grace Fund to fill in the roughly $1.2 million gap that’s left.
What does the Grace Fund cover?
- Academic and other types of scholarships
(84 percent of Grace students receive some type of institutional aid)
- Faculty/staff salaries and benefits
- Campus utilities
- Other general operating expenses
How do I make a gift?
Any gifts not designated to a specific department or project go to the Grace Fund. In addition, Grace actively solicits alumni and friends, because we’ve found that people give when they’re asked to give.
The Office of Advancement solicits Grace Fund gifts from individuals at various times throughout the year. However, we don’t expect everyone to respond to each letter, Phonathon call, or email. That’s why we vary the type and timeframe of each contact—to allow you to choose how and when you partner with us to meet the needs of Grace.
Grace accepts cash, checks, gifts-in-kind, and gifts using your Visa, MasterCard, or Discover credit or debit card. Monthly giving is also available via electronic funds transfer (EFT) or through your credit or debit card.
