Coming to college for the first time is a big transition. Living on your own in a dorm room without anything (or anyone!) familiar to you can be intimidating. However, at Grace we desire to make your residence life experience enjoyable--and this starts with helping you decide what to bring to college. We have provided a list of room accessories and necessities for life in the residence halls.
What to Bring: Residence Hall Students
The school provides for each student a bed, dresser, desk, chair, and curtains or mini-blinds. The resident is responsible for any other room accessories he or she may wish to have.
This list is not exhaustive; it contains suggested items:
Alarm clock
Backpack/book bag
Bedding and sheets (twin, regular)
Bible
Calculator
Calendar/planner
Camera
Clothes hangers
Computer/laptop/netbook (optional—Grace has computers for use in every building on campus with printing abilities)
