Financial Aid Checklist

Applying for financial aid doesn’t need to be complicated. Simply follow the steps in the Financial Aid Checklist below and if you run into any obstacles or have questions along the way, email Financial Aid or call 800-544-7223, ext. 6162. We’d be happy to help!

Apply and be accepted for admission to Grace College

1. Submit your completed FAFSA form. FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid used to determine the amount of federal, state and institutional need-based financial aid a student is awarded. In order to receive any need-based financial aid from Grace, a student must complete the FAFSA form and list Grace College (code 001800) in order to determine the financial aid award. The FAFSA deadline for Indiana students is March 10.
2. Submit any documents or clarifying information that is requested by Grace College’s Office of Student Financial Aid Services within 30 days. Notify the Student Financial Aid Office if you will be receiving any outside sources of financial aid. Upon receiving the Student Aid Notification letter from Grace College, carefully follow all the instructions that are listed.
3. Male citizens of the U.S. and male immigrant aliens 18 through 25 years old must be registered with the U.S. Selective Service System to be eligible for federal student loans and grants. Men can register at any post office or register online.
